SEXUAL + ROMANTIC ORIENTATION

Sexual orientation refers to a person's enduring pattern of romantic and/or sexual attraction to others. This can include attraction to people of the opposite sex or gender, the same sex or gender, both sexes or multiple genders, or no gender. The commonly recognized categories of sexual orientation include heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality, and asexuality (lack of sexual attraction).

On the other hand, romantic orientation refers to a person's preferred gender for romantic relationships or falling in love. It is considered an alternative or complementary term to sexual orientation and highlights the idea that sexual attraction is just one aspect of a larger picture.

It is important to note that sexual and romantic identities are complex and can change over time. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide how they want to describe their own sexuality and romantic inclinations.
